Haven in McCrae
Listen to the locals and they will rave about the hidden gem that is McCrae. A small village on the central coast of the Mornington Peninsula with arguably one of the best beaches in Victoria. It sits nestled at the base of Arthurs Seat with beautiful holiday homes hugging the steep inclines up to the peak.

This quiet little enclave positioned between Dromana and Rosebud offers long beautiful white sandy beach and shallow swimming and you can't miss it as the McCrae Lighthouse acts as a prominent local landmark that was built to mark the turning point for shipping in the main navigational channels between Port Phillip Heads and Melbourne.

This coastal strip is known as the foreshore and forms part of the 28km Bay Trail for walkers and cyclists that runs along the Port Phillip coastline from Safety Beach to Portsea.

Blue Haven is within walking distance of the McCrae foreshore and a select number of cafes and restaurants that make up the cute centre of this village.

This unique property sits within a quiet court and offers its guests spacious accommodation with a beautiful central living area and Balinese inspired gardens.

On entering the house, you will find yourself in a unique beachside retreat set on multiple levels with a host of entertaining spaces for your family and friends. Floors have that beachy feel with original timber and slate and lovely carpet in the bedrooms.

Walk into the entry which doubles as a dining space and the windows in this section of the house continue the beach theme with plantation shutters.

Next to the dining area is a sunken lounge, accessed by a few steps. Keeping an open feel, there are half walled open spaces between the dining area and lounge.

With elegant furnishing, the lounge is spacious yet cosy with an electric fire for ambience. The 55" SMART TV and built-in bookshelves make this the perfect space to relax. A reverse cycle air conditioner keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer and also services the internal dining room, the space even has a library with a book exchange (take a book, leave a book).

A large gourmet kitchen with slate floors and SMEG Victoria cooker will make any chef envious. Bench space for eating here allows you to indulge in a glass of wine or snack while talking to the host/hostess preparing dinner. There is a large stainless steel fridge, coffee machine and water filter.

The Playroom/Studio has a sofa bed, reverse cycle air conditioner and 30" TV and DVD for the kids to stay entertained while the grown-ups can gather in the elegant lounge.

Add to this the most MAGNIFICENT dining table for entertaining (seats 8), extra space to lounge and a log fire (chimera) for ambience and your holiday wishes are all complete. This property really has it all - 4/5 perfect bedrooms for 6-8 guests, numerous indoor spaces and beautiful outdoor vistas.

The large master bedroom has a queen size bed, with plantation blinds. The room looks out onto the front garden and has an ensuite and robes.
The second bedroom also has a queen size bed with views out to the deck and garden with sliding doors to bring the outside in.
The two middle bedrooms are smaller with single beds.
