-Far from the madding crowd-
This picture perfect white weatherboard cottage is named after the pretty white mountain flower that lives high up on the Swiss Alps and made famous by the oscar winning 'Sound of Music'.

From the moment that you pull up to this lovely cottage there are hints of Swiss/German style. The pitched roof might not have the acute angle of a Swiss Chalet (no need for such things when there is no snow to be found at Cape Schanck ) but it has the feel of a summer retreat in a more mountainous region with the Lavender hedges that guide you to the front door.

A Swiss cowbell hangs on the front door to welcome you.

The small front verandah gives you a hint of the lifestyle you can expect from this property. A seating area with comfy chairs are ready for you to take up position to relax on sunny days and warm nights with a beverage of your choice.

-Living Areas-
On entering the accommodation space is not at all cottage like. You are welcomed into a large lounge with comfy sofas surrounding a log fire and 55 inch TV, DVD with Foxtel. The space even has a library with cosy seating for relaxing with a book, use the book exchange (take a book, leave a book).

Walk through the lounge to a spacious and bright kitchen and dining with huge walk in pantry. The dining has seating for at least 6 but can stretch to 10. It also connects to the outside deck via sliding doors where you will find masses of further seating in a further 2 dining areas, swing style lounge chair and corner wine barrel bar style table. This L-shaped deck is one of the showstoppers of the house looking out to a lawned area with lemon and olive trees, this is the perfect entertaining space all year round.

Upstairs there is a further TV lounge with a 42 inch TV where perhaps kids could enjoy time chilling out You will also find that kids are catered for with a Playstation 3 , books and indoor and outdoor games.

-Bedrooms-
Two of the bedrooms are situated on the lower level of the house. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, large walk in wardrobe and has it's own ensuite (with shared access if required). The second bedroom on the ground floor has a double bunk (double lower bed and single above) perfect for the kids.

Upstairs there is a further Queen bedroom and another bedroom with a further double bunk.

The bedding is ideally suited to 4 adults and 4 - 6 children although 8 adults could fit comfortably into the property.

-Bathrooms-
The property has two bathrooms in classic cottage style.
The upstairs shared bathroom has a bath with shower over the bath.
The downstairs bathroom has a clawfoot bath and separate shower and separate toilet. It is attached to the master bedroom but has separate access if required.
There is also a large fully equipped laundry downstairs.

-Car Parking-
There is space for 4 cars to park comfortably in the driveway. There is also room for a boat.

-Pet Friendly-
Please note that the property welcomes pets with a large garden surrounding the house for pets to roam freely. Pets are welcome inside. Please bring your own bedding and bowls. Do not allow pets on furniture or beds.

Garden: grassed lawn area at rear (please check this and clean up after your pets)
Fencing: Fully fenced garden front and rear with electronic front gate. 6 ft fencing all around the property except a 4 ft wire mesh fence at the front.
