The River Ridge log house was hand-crafted in Canada by "Pioneer Log Homes of BC", and shipped to New Zealand to be resurrected by local artisan craftsmen in a private and tranquil setting overlooking the mighty Clutha River. Just 15 minutes from Wanaka, this expansive log home looks out to the snow-capped peaks of the Southern Alps, evoking thoughts of the Rocky Mountains. An impressive property, full of warmth and character and brimming with personality, where every corner is a work of art and every wall is different. The rural location adds to this charming holiday home by offering peace and quiet and making it easy to sit back, relax and unwind.

At River Ridge you are presented with spacious accommodation: 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 3 sitting areas, a billiards room and the 'Grand Room'. The Grand Room with wood burning fire, is an open plan area consisting of a large, modern kitchen, a dining area and a living room with full height ceilings showing off the amazing 'Canadian Western Red Cedar'. Every room is dressed in stylish furnishings, complimenting the luxurious and unique feel of this mountain home. A home to get away from the hectic pace of everyday life and appreciate the things that really matter - quality time with family and friends! Minimum stay is 4 nights.

Located at an altitude of 300 metres, Wanaka is fast becoming one of the world’s great playgrounds. Visitors can venture into the hills and mountains surrounding Wanaka for skiing, heli-skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking and climbing. Or just enjoy the views!
