Quirky 1 bedroom cottage

The Casa do Forno Cottage is the most private of all the accommodations available at the Quintassential, a traditional one-bedroom cottage; the cottage with most character at the Quintassential that sleeps two adults. The Casa do Forno Cottage being part of the original farmhouse with its high sloping ceilings, this accommodation is always cool in the summer and warm in winter.

The bedroom has a double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
Next to the bedroom is an alcove with further storage, chest of drawers and a safety deposit box. This cottage has a crows nest TV lounge with terracotta flooring, comfy leather sofa suite with footstool, 19-inch flat screen LG TV with Satellite TV with free to view UK TV Channels and Astra Free to view Satellite TV channels providing at total of 161 channels, DVD player, small selection of DVDs, mini Hi-Fi stereo with radio/CD player and MP3 reader (guests to bring own CDs), Logitech iPod speakers (battery operated, guests to provide batteries) and spectacular views.

The rustic kitchen dining area comes fully equipped with gas hob, combi microwave oven, large fridge/freezer, electric kettle, coffee filter machine, espresso coffee machine, hand held electric blender and toaster. This area also has the original bread oven and stone sink dating back to the 19th century.

There is a marvelous antique pine dresser dressed with traditional Algarvian pottery plates, bowls etc for your use during your stay. The Algarvian mosaic tile topped dining table comfortably seats two people and with two traditional hand painted Portuguese chairs, these are a dream to look at, the craftsmanship is amazing. There is also a large wood burning stove that keeps the cottage very cosy during the cooler winter months providing 24/7 heating along with an eco wall heater and one oil filled radiator. The bathroom has a shower with a tiled seating area within it, WC and washbasin with vanity unit under.

Outside there is a completely secluded south facing private terrace with table, chairs, parasol, reclining seats and a brick built Bar-B-Q. This cottage also has its own garden area for soaking up the Algarvian sun in total privacy. New for 2018, the Casa do Forno Cottage now has its own hot tub spa Jacuzzi for the sole use of the guests staying in this cottage. From the terrace you will be able to experience some of the finest sunsets the Algarve has to offer.

The Quintassential is blessed with panoramic sea views and spectacular countryside views, just what you need for a tranquil and relaxing holiday. The gardens at Quintassential, just over an acre, are marvellous and are a flower, shrub and fruit tree haven of peace and tranquility where you can always find a quiet area to read a book, relax and unwind. Added with the breathtaking views of the Algarve coastline by both day and night, this gives location oodles of character, uniqueness and creates a warm friendly relaxing atmosphere for our guests. If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil retreat away from it all, but close to all local amenities, The Quintassential is perfect and is an ideal base to explore the Algarve whatever your age group.

The Quintassential has a large heated pool area; the pool measures 10 x 5 m and sun loungers, parasols etc are provided for the use of the guests. There are four accommodations in total, 1 large two bedroom accommodation and three one bedroom accommodations. There is also a large raised sun deck poolside to soak up the glorious sun and a freestanding hot tub spa jacuzzi for adult guest use. The pool is heated during the cooler months of April and October for stays of seven nights or more and there is no additional charge for heating the pool.

The Quintassential is open all year round so that guests can enjoy the 3000 hours of sunshine the Algarve has to offer. We understand that with low cost airlines it may be better to travel on days other than Sunday or Thursday, so we are flexible with our arrival and departure days dependent upon already confirmed bookings.

The cottages are individual at the Quintassential, originally dating back to the 19th century that was once a farmhouse and over the years has been thoughtfully converted to provide picturesque holiday accommodations. One of the accommodations is occupied by the owners who are there to help, but never infringe on your privacy. Our rustic home from home accommodations are furnished equipped and decorated to a very high standard, with great attention to detail visible in all the accommodations together with little personal touches resulting in good value for money special holiday lets and varied to suit all age groups. All the accommodations are south facing and all have sea views, have their own separate entrances, own kitchens, private south-facing sun terraces and BBQ areas. In all the accommodations there are a selection of puzzles, chess set, dominos, playing cards and a vast selection of English reading books. There is also free Wi-Fi Internet access available with hotspots within the Quintassential for guests staying.

On arrival at the Quintassential the owners will meet you and awaiting your arrival in your accommodation will be a welcome hamper, compliments of the house for guest staying a week or more. For guest staying less than a week, this can be arranged for an additional charge of 20.00 GBP. For all our adult guests bathrobes are provided for use during your stay. Pool towels are also provided for the use of our guests, but guests are asked to bring their own beach towels or these can be hired from us, and in all the accommodations there is a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

For an additional charge we can also arrange a pre-arrival shopping service, champagne and strawberries, baby welcome hamper, baby sitting services, spa treatments, arrival day take away meal service (collected en route from the airport after 19.00 hours local time), beach towel hire, GPS Sat Nav hire and a laundry service. We can also arrange varied activities whilst holidaying at the Quintassential. We can arrange dolphin watching tours with a local nature company. Jeep safari tours can also be arranged where you are picked up at the Quintassential and enabling you to explore the inland Algarve. For those who wish to walk the Algarve, we can arrange guided walks, half day, full day or even walking holiday weeks. Your guide will pick you up at the Quintassential and take you on a discovery trail. For those who like to bird watch we can also arrange bird watching tours and bird watching holiday weeks. Back due to popular demand we are pleased to be able to reoffer our three-course home cooked traditional Portuguese cuisine served for all to enjoy on your private terrace or in your accommodation. This is a great way to relax and unwind at the end of the day.

The Quintassential is now pleased to offer our Bed and Breakfast option, a delicious continental breakfast (meat option will be available from April 2019) basket delivered to your cottage for you to enjoy when you are ready, so relax, take your time and enjoy your breakfast.

The Quintassential is an oasis of peace and tranquillity perched high on a hilltop 1200 feet above sea level totally fenced and accessed via electric gates overlooking the market town of Loule, only 10 minutes from the blue flag beaches of the Algarve and world famous golf courses and a 15 minute drive from Faro International airport. The Quintassential Apartment Cottages are a small family run cluster of self catering holiday accommodations catering for couples, families and the over 50s. The accommodations are fully licensed meeting to all requirements by the Portuguese rental law with the required Alojamento Local licence (AL). Loule has everything one would need from a holiday with endless restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, banks, shops, award winning traditional vegetable, fish & vegetable market, famous gypsy market, historical buildings etc. There are also three restaurants within reasonable walking distance of the Quintassential.
