Heron's Rest

LOCATION
Tapitallee is located South West of Berry and just over the hill South East of Kangaroo Valley both about 20 minutes away with no traffic lights. It is a beautiful area with many attractions such as wineries, ceramics, orchids, bonsai, slab timbers, Bundanon and Riversdale.

PROPERTY
Herons Rest is our newest cottage built right on the edge of a farm dam. It has a fifteen-metre floating pontoon built out into the dam with a table, chairs and a small fire pit. Herons Rest is fully self-contained with two queen sized bedrooms with an attached ensuite for each bedroom. Herons Rest also has a pantry and laundry.

BOOKING CONDITIONS
A booking for a couple is for one bedroom and one bathroom only. If you want two bedrooms and/or bathroom for a couple there is an extra charge. When you make a booking for a cottage you have exclusive use of that cottage. There will be no one else booked into the remaining bedroom.

AMENITIES
The showers do not have water saving heads so you will get plenty of water. However, the showers do have a six-minute timer on them. After all, the water comes from a tank and we all have to save water. There is a small use and replace wine cellar in Herons Rest and The Stables. You are welcome to the wine on the proviso that you replace the wine you drink with the same wine or that of equivalent quality. There is a coffee grinder, a slow cooker, a rice cooker, fry pan, and a barbecue. Enough for you to enjoy your meals in all cottages. There are 1000 thread sheets and pillowcases. Towels are supplied. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a dishwasher (in Herons rest and The Stables), a microwave oven and a fridge. There is also an outside bbq.

The property is close to the Berry Markets on the first Sunday of each month. The Kangaroo Valley markets are also close by. We are also located only about a 40 minute drive from the Beautiful Beaches of Jervis Bay, where you can fish, surf and do all the other wonderful things you do at the beach without having to pay a fortune to stay close to it.
