Bass Lodge

Located on the Upper Macleay River between Armidale and Kempsey in northern NSW and surrounded by National Parks, Bass Lodge is the perfect getaway for fisherman, hikers, families or social groups.

THE BASS LODGE
Bass Lodge is a true masterpeice of a building - made from the rocks sourced from the river and completed with perfectly milled cyprus logs assembled and without a single nail, the Lodge is a beautiful place. Accommodating large groups, of up to 3 families or 12 people and with all the comforts of home, you will leave feeling relaxed and fulfilled. Staying at the Lodge is affordable, and it really is truly unique within Australia.

The Area:
The area around Bass lodge is breathtaking. Situated at "The Junction", Bass Lodge is positioned on the Macleay River at the entrance of Georges Creek. Upstream on the Macleay lies National Parks and wilderness with many mountain river systems feeding into the Macleay. As the topography upstream on the Macleay River is extremely vast and steep having extremely limited access, the fishing is fantastic. Downstream from the Lodge lies miles and miles of river which is accessible from the road and offering good fishing and general sightseeing opportunities.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:
- Sufficient food for your stay
- Drinking water (tank water in use at Lodge)
- Any beverages/cold drinks for your stay
- Suitable clothing such as long sleeve shirt, hats
- Sunscreen
- Linen (sheets, towels and pillow cases), unless you have requested to use ours.
- Rubber shoes, crocs or other suitable hard wearing shoes suitable for walking on rocks
- Petrol/deisel. Make sure you have a full tank before leaving Armidale or Kempsey
- Fishing tackle and lures/flies
- Barrel or dry bags for canoes/river
- Torches/head torches (if going outside at night)
- Camera
- Always remember to acquire the entry code to Bass lodge so that you can enter at any time.
- A sense of adventure and good spirits

RATES
Minimum stay is 2 nights. Children under 12 are free.
Weekday (Sunday - Wednesday) - $225 per night (up to 4 people) OR $50 per person (>4 people)
Weekend (Thursday - Saturday) - $300 per night (up to 4 people) OR $70 per person (>4 people)
Linen (optional) - $25 per person (if required) OR bring your own top bottom sheet pillow case and towel
Spa (optional) - $300 once off (only if required)
