Devonport Bed & Breakfast

Cameo Cottage (c.1914) is a roomy two bedroom home, beside the Mersey River in Devonport. Fully self-contained, the cottage is set in a lovely garden on a level block of land. It has a fully equipped kitchen, and gas heating in the family room. A washing machine is available for guests to use. The main bedroom offers a queen-size bed and the second bedroom two singles. Furnished in a modern country style. Barbecue facilities are provided and off street undercover parking. Generous breakfast provisions are included together with many other items for you to enjoy your stay eg. homemade biscuits.

For those who like an early morning or evening stroll, there are walking/cycle tracks beside the river. Some people may even like to try their luck at fishing. The main central business district is within easy walking distance to banks, supermarkets, restaurants and shops. Devonport has an 18-hole golf course, an Olympic sized pool, safe swimming beaches, and at nearby Don River you can take a steam railway trip.
Devonport is a perfect location to make your base and enjoy many day trips. A ten-minute drive away you will find Latrobe with its many interesting antique shops, and cafes and Anvers chocolate factory. Cradle Mountain is approximately a 90-minute drive away. The Devonport airport is approx 15 minute drive and the Spirit of Tasmania Ferry Terminal about 10 minutes.
