The Mouses House Rainforest Retreat in Springbrook is arguably the most unique chalet accommodation resort of its type in Australia located in the World Heritage listed Springbrook National Park in the Gold Coast Hinterland. The Mouses House Retreat, consists of 13 delightful Rainforest Chalets built next to picturesque views and sounds of a cascading mountain stream right in front of your chalet.
Our rainforest is truly enchanted and within an hour of arriving you will feel any stress disappear, replaced with peace, tranquility & a feeling of being at one with nature. Your accommodation consists of one of 14 chalet cabins nestled throughout the World Heritage Listed National Park. The song of native birds and the haunting call of nocturnal animals will have you in awe, not to mention the beauty of the towering brush box trees and the gentle cascading streams
Each individual chalet has a fully equipped kitchen, wood fireplace, reverse-cycle air conditioning, separate bedroom, plasma television, DVD player, stereo radio system , telephone, free use of a iPad, free and fast Wi-fi Internet, combined lounge and dining room, private balcony with barbecues. All chalets have their own private in chalet two person triangle spa baths with views into the rainforest. One chalet has disabled facilities. All their Luxury Stream Chalets have an extra private outside Hot Tub!
At night possums will visit each chalet and can be hand fed. Why not spoil yourself with an in-chalet Swedish Body massage or stroll 400 metres to the start of the magnificent four kilometre 'Twin Falls' Rainforest walk. Weekend tariffs apply for Friday and Saturday nights. Cheaper to stay during weekdays.

Our Dopey chalet may be the smallest of all our chalets, but he may be the cutest!. Dopey has a queen bedroom downstairs and a queen bedroom upstairs in the loft via a ladder. Sleeps max four (4) persons at a time.

Happy follows it name and enriches all guests with a warm & happy feeling. Happy has a queen bedroom downstairs with ensuite bathroom and a single bed upstairs in a open loft via a ladder. Sleeps max four (4) persons at a time.

Sneezy won't make you reach for a tissue, but he does have a fabulous covered BBQ patio. Sneezy has a queen bedroom with ensuite bathroom downstairs and a single bed upstairs in a open loft via a ladder. Sleeps max four (4) persons at a time.

All Rainforest Spa and Stream Chalets are built next to a cascading mountain stream with views and sounds from the patio.
DOC CHALET
Our Spa and Stream Chalet Doc can be a extra comfortable chalet for just two, or easily sleep up to eight (8) persons. Doc has a main queen bedroom downstairs, separate double bedroom downstairs, plus four (4) single beds upstairs in the loft.
Doc also has two (2) downstairs bathrooms and is our wheelchair-friendly disabled chalet.
SLEEPY CHALET
Our Spa and Stream Chalet Sleepy key feature is his easy access to the car park, if walking is a issue for you. Sleepy has a queen bedroom downstairs and a queen bedroom upstairs in the loft via a ladder. Lovely location right by the stream. Sleeps max five (5) persons at a time.Reverse cycle air-conditioner with fully self contained kitchen.
GRUMPY CHALET
Our Spa and Stream Chalet Grumpy is guaranteed not to make you grumpy! Lovely location right by the stream with resident Brush Turkeys. BASHFUL CHALET

Our Luxury Spa and Sky-Loft Chalet 'Belle' is a different design based on our Wicked Witch and Sleeping Beauty chalets. Special features included a 3 floors, King sized beds, sprial staircase & and private hot tub high up in the tree top canopeReverse cycle air-conditioner and fully self contained kitchen, Belle chalet sleeps upto to 4 persons with either 2 king or 1 king & 2 single.
KING LOUIE CHALET
Our Luxury Spa and Sky-Loft Chalet 'King Louie' is the brother chalet to Belle, but a two (2) person couples chalet. Similar styling, design, features and feeling to Belle. Special features included 2nd floor outside hot tub and rain shower, king sized bed and sprial staircase.Reverse cycle ducted air-conditioner and fully self contained kitchen, King Louie chalet sleeps two persons.
Springbrook is a unique area that offers a diversity of things to see and do by day and night. Apart from the spectacular bush walks and lookouts in our world heritage listed national park, you could visit a number of welcoming cafes and local art and craft shops scattered across the mountain.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By paying your deposit you are agreeing fully to the terms and conditions outlined below ;
- It is suggested that guests seek travel insurance (particularly for longer stays) to cover cancellations, loss of deposits, medical and other emergencies.
- Tariff includes firewood and free use of Wi-Fi Internet, hot tub, sauna room, tennis court, bikes and movies on-demand.
- Extra optional items like food baskets, telephone calls, purchased drinks etc must be paid for before departure. Costs will be automatically charged to your credit card otherwise.
- Guests are responsible for damage, loss or theft from their chalet. Replacement costs will be automatically charged to your credit card.
- Two singles staying in the same chalet requesting separate bedding will incur a surcharge of $15.- to cover extra bedding costs and labour.
- No refund for time unused, unless re-let.
- Smoking is only permitted outside your chalet.
- Surcharges and minimum night stays may apply throughout the year.
- A 20% surcharge is applied for stays over all long weekends and between 24th December to 2nd January.
- Tariffs, booking terms and conditions plus our cancellation policy are subject to change without notice.
- All tariffs include GST (Goods and Services Tax).
- Sorry, No pets allowed.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Scenario 1 :
If booking cancelled more than 21 days before arrival, refund is given less our cancellation fee $65.- If a guest wishes to change dates more than 21 days before arrival, this option is cost free.
Scenario 2 :
If booking is cancelled or guest wishes to change dates within 21 days prior to arrival date, the chalet time must first be re-let. Otherwise full payment is still required. If we have fully re-let your booked chalet time, guests are then welcome to a refund less our $65.- cancellation fee, or move the booking to a future date. This option is also cost free.
