Aptly Named - Seascape Retreat's Sanctuary A little touch of heaven in the Fleurieu Peninsula set in the hills overlooking Victor Harbour. We stayed in the Sanctuary villa as we wanted the slow combustion wood fire which was perfect for the winter nights. The villa also is screened and has evaporative cooling and ceiling fans for the summer. It is delightfully appointed inside with expansive views through the windows and doors across the deck. We only had two nights to stay but could've stayed a month. Jenny and Jean-Pierre were wonderful hosts - helpful and informative, but not at all intrusive. Everything needed for self-catering is provided, though it is less than half an hour to the coast for a variety of good dining options. The villa has high-end inclusions that make for a comfortable stay. We appreciated that check-out was 11 which made for a leisurely departure. We ave no hesitation in recommending the Seascape Retreat and would happily return.
