Comprising 4 spacious suites in a hillside setting close by the beach, at la Cigale you'll find ample room to chill-out with grand sea and mountain views from the lush tropical garden, conveniently located just a few minutes from Sairee beach below.

The Twin Villa (Baan Coo) is most spacious and enjoys a choice view over the length of Sairee beach. It includes two main rooms, a large bedroom with en-suite and a kitchen/lounge linked via a wooden verandah. The large air-conditioned bedroom has a custom low-set bed while the kitchen/lounge is a fan-only room with a sofa-bed and dining setting.

The Garden Villa (Baan Suan) is built on two levels, a single bedroom/en-suite and adjacent open-air kitchen/recreation area on the upper floor with cooking and dining facilities, the lower floor an open tiled lounge space with a large twin-level hardwood deck. Shaded by big trees in the garden the sea view is minimal however it is located closest to the beach.

The Family Villa (Baan Hin aka Rock Villa) is a single split-level layout with kitchen/lounge, bedroom & en-suite with a wrap-around verandah looking over Sairee beach to town port, and an open roof-top deck with sun-lounges and a Thai bamboo sala.

Our Family Bungalow (Baan Kao) also enjoys a great view of Sairee beach and bay from the balcony & bedside. This accommodation is 55 sq m in total area and features the same villa facilities excepting kitchen/lounge. With addition of an extra bed this room can also accommodate 3 guests. la Cigale accommodations are fully furnished, all rooms come complete with King-size bed, air conditioning, flat screen TV & cable channels, DVD player, mobile phone, WiFi, complimentary minibar, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers and garden hammock. The open air en-suite bathrooms feature hot water rain showers in natural stone surrounds.

All villas are fitted with a custom kitchen including dining setting & lounge area and provided with a complimentary kitchen snack pack including fresh bread, eggs, milk, jam etc.. and a classic Pavoni lever espresso coffee machine ..each villa suite comprises a total area approx 120 sq m.

Additional services include in-room massage, tours and onsite motorbike rental on request. We also have a coffee shop/breakfast bar and in-room menus from several local restaurants which offer room service to your door.

Sairee beach is less than 5 minutes walk from la Cigale, the central beachfront restaurant and entertainment areas by Sairee village plaza are a few hundred metres further down, nearly 15 minutes walk or 2 minutes by motorbike..

Of course you need not go anywhere in a hurry, our Jamm Corner coffee shop serves fabulous coffees and breakfast sets on the deck at our entrance, or let us deliver a choice to your room. Sairee beach is immediately opposite the road entrance to la Cigale, about 350 metres from the villas, access is directly through Golden Cape bungalow and leads to the Rim Lae restaurant at Koh Tao Cabana. There is some decent snorkelling to be enjoyed around the rocky point here.. Some of Ko Tao's many beaches are not so easy to research and we recommend taking a boat tour around the island to discover all the coastline has to offer by boarding one of the long-tail taxi boats from Sairee beach just by the Cabana, it makes for a fun, leisurely day trip, sun lotion and wide-brimmed hat recommended!!

Besides getting beached you'll find a wide range of entertainment including rock climbing, sailing, hiking, windsurfing, fishing, Thai boxing, yoga, mountain bike riding, paintball, mini golf, abseiling, jet skiing, kitesurfing ..and to wrap it all up, traditional Thai massage and spa therapy - quite a lot of massage actually, which is always good after any sport.

Ko Tao restaurants prepare a varied choice for most every palate with some of the best seafood available in the Gulf. There are far too many beachside restaurants to list, check the layout at In Touch or Sairee Cottage's evening platter on Sairee beach promenade for starters... in Mae Haad town Whitening serves fabulous dining fare beachside at port while V.NIZZA prepares great pizzas and the freshest salads in Sairee central ...but you'll also find Japanese, Indian, Vegetarian and Mexican restaurants peppered about the island.

Thai-food lovers will enjoy many places to indulge and you'll be treated exceptionally well at Tukta Restaurant in Chalok, a much visited destination for an authentic Thai flavour experience you should not miss.. Just off the strip in Sairee you'll find the busy Blue Chair restaurant and the European managed and very satisfying Sairee Sairee next to The Brother sports bar, both just opposite the 7-11 at the main street intersection. Noodle lovers must try the variety of dishes at the 995 Duck shop a bit further up from the Blue Chair ..taste-a-licious =) 7/11 Island halfway up Sairee beach on the mainroad is home to several Thai restaurants, a selection of street market food and the Godfather Pizza, vegetarians will want to experience Vegetabowl's healthy fare, immediately opposite the market on the road leading to the beach.
