Buxton Manor, part of the North Adelaide Heritage Group is a glorious, romantic, vintage mansion built in 1908.

It's surrounded by half an acre of manicured gardens and houses a collection of Australian antiques and memorabilia.

Enjoy open fires, polished spruce floors, decorative fireplaces, marbleised ceilings, rag rolled faux paint finishes, ornate ceiling roses, gilt mirrors, sumptuous antique beds and ducted air conditioning. It lies in the heart of the exclusive historic area of North Adelaide, part of the city of Adelaide. One of the fathers of the Australian constitution Sir Josiah Symons lived in the manor during the winter months tended by his butler, chauffeur, cook and maids.

GARDEN AND LOFT

Garden and Loft Apartment is a three bedroom suite of six rooms in two stories overlooking the rear rose garden and sweeping lawns. The drawing room has an open fire, polished floorboards and French doors, leading to covered patio with outside lighting. The master bedroom has lovely antiques and a king size bed. Upstairs is a spacious loft bedroom/sitting room with views to the city and two king single beds and a linen lounge suite. The kitchen is a large country kitchen with a red pine dresser and a table that seats six persons and has a very unusual lazy Susan. The third bedroom is scented by a jasmine covered window and contains a queen size antique bed and a single antique cast iron bed.
