BLUE LAGOON VILLA
Of our three types of rainforest accommodation, the Blue Lagoon Villa is the most luxurious. In addition to the villa, it includes a private lagoon pool that you can laze in night and day, a separate party lounge with a bar, pool table and cheeky dance pole for when you feel like having fun, and a gazebo and daybed that are perfect for afternoon naps, massages, meditation or reading a good book. All this is exclusively yours during your stay, so you won't see another soul. We guarantee it. This absolute privacy is why we recommend the Blue Lagoon Villa for intimate weddings, elopement packages, private honeymoons and secluded romantic getaways.

The Blue Lagoon Villa is self-catering and is equipped with a full gourmet-kitchen. We provide you with fresh and organic local produce so you can enjoy breakfast on the deck or in the garden by the lagoon to the sound of birdsong and gurgling brooks.

For a unique private-dining experience we can arrange for acclaimed chef Craig Squire of the famous Ochre Restaurant to cook you a meal to remember. His innovative use of Australian native foods has made Ochre Restaurant the most highly awarded restaurant in Cairns. He sources seasonal local ingredients and supports local artisan producers.

Your rainforest accommodation includes a personal helipad, making it convenient for you to fly to the Great Barrier Reef for a champagne breakfast and a morning snorkel. If that's too energetic, sleep in and spend a relaxing day exploring the natural spas, swimming holes, rivers, wildlife and gardens of your own private couples retreat in Queensland's tropical rainforest.

*Studio Rainforest Villa
The Studio Rainforest Villa is available on request for an additional couple. It features an LCD flat screen remote control TV, which emerges from the base of your plush leather Queen bed, a bar fridge, a kitchenette with dishwasher, gas cook top, coffee machine as well as air conditioning and fans and the daily rate is $250 for 1 couple.

THE HIDEAWAY
Deep in the heart of North Queensland's heritage-listed rainforest is this private paradise. Its beautiful setting and absolute seclusion make it the perfect love nest or writer's retreat.

A short stroll down a rainforest path beneath ancient fig trees brings you to a stream cascading over moss-covered rocks where platypus and fish swim.

Spend the day exploring the many surrounding attractions, writing your masterpiece, or being otherwise "pre-occupied", then pour yourself a champagne and relax on the porch to enjoy the soothing sounds of the rainforest - whispering leaves, bird calls and the shimmering song of the nearby river.

Nearby attractions include stunning hikes up Mount Bartle Frere and The Pyramid, Josephine falls, the Waterfall Way, Babinda Boulders, foodie trails, Paronella Park, the Atherton Tablelands, and the Great Barrier Reef.

The Hideaway rainforest accommodation is just ten minutes from secluded beaches and the Great Barrier Reef. Frankland Islands Cruises will take you out to see the coral and swim with tropical fish, sea turtles, giant clams and sting rays.

The Hideaway is a one bedroom self-contained suite with a fully-equipped kitchen, Italian leather sofa that can fold out to a bed, and a separate queen bedroom.
