Cohuna is situated adjacent to the Gunbower State Forest and National Parks, within the Murray wetlands of Northern Victoria. This internationally recognised wetland habitat is distinguished by swamps, billabongs, giant river red gums and box forests which are a sanctuary for colonies of kangaroos, possums, emus, goannas and snakes and more than 160 different bird species.
