Granite Gardens Cottages

A picturesque drive three hours south-west of Brisbane's CBD and approximately ten minutes from Stanthorpe, Granite Gardens offers complete relaxation as soon as you enter the grounds of our property. Four well-appointed cottages ensure privacy and serenity and are well suited to couples seeking a romantic getaway or simply a relaxing break. Set on thirty-seven acres, Granite Gardens comprises beautiful gardens set amongst majestic Wallangarra gums, through which our guests are welcome to meander.

Granite Gardens Cottages offers visitors the choice of four well-appointed, self-contained guest houses which are nestled amongst five acres of gardens and manicured lawns. The cottages named for the local area Cunningham, Girraween and Macpherson are situated above the lake and gardens. The Lake Retreat Githabul has been named for the traditional owners of the land on which it stands. It is located opposite the cottages and commands a beautiful view of both the lake and gardens.

Revive and refresh your senses in our cottage accommodation nestled snugly amongst magnificent cottage gardens.

Cottage accommodation has been decorated for your time away in a spacious yet cosy slightly modern decor. The cottages have a corner spa, plus a separate shower for your use, including the fire place which is used in the cold nights that Stanthorpe ( between June and August ( generally) can have during the winter months.

No humidity at night so sleeping with the windows open

Sit on the veranda of late afternoon or morning and watch the bird life and small animals come to life as you cook your morning breakfast on the BBQ or inside as you choose.

Leave the world behind, and enjoy the gardens your cottage for a few days.

Fully Self contained with a cozy log fire, in the winter ( June- August)
DVD player and DVD's.
Enjoy your BBQ on the veranda.

Two (2) nights minimum stay

Pet-Friendly - Only one cottage is generally allocated pet-friendly cottage. Extra charges may apply as a pet is allowed inside a cottage or lake retreat.
