Casa Favilla

Casa Favilla is a high quality and colourful bed and breakfast, on the Great Ocean Road, about five minutes walk south of the main shopping area of Apollo Bay. The clubrooms of the Apollo Bay Gulf Club are 200 metres immediately to the north, with the boat harbour also close by.

All restaurants in Apollo Bay are only a few minutes away, except the out of town Chris's Beacon Point Restaurant. The nearer of the two local pubs is barely 300 metres away, while the Great Ocean Walk literally goes past the front door.

Casa Favilla's three rooms each has individual character and appeal. The Red Room is near the street and front door, with a partial view of the local Barham River, with Mounts Bay and Hayley Reef in the background.

The slightly larger Blue Room has direct access to a partially covered rear decking area, overlooking the back garden. It receives morning sunshine, as does the smaller Green Room. The latter is unconditionally for two people only, with insufficient space to allow for an extra fold-out bed.

A good quality continental style breakfast is always included when staying at Casa Favilla.

RED ROOM
The Red Room is close to the front door of Casa Favilla, with a partial view from the room or from the outside balcony area of the local Barham River, with Mounts Bay and Hayley Reef in the background. In July 2015, the room had a new high quality reverse cycle heating and cooling system installed.

There are coffee and tea making facilities in the room, with a small fridge as well. The en-suite is large and extremely attractive with all the required amenities for a quality stay, including bath sheet sized towels.

The polished floorboards and other features in this room ensure health, hygiene and cleanliness are never a concern.

GREEN ROOM
The Green Room is a delightful room. It has a leather covered queen sized bed as do the other rooms. It is the most secluded, yet has the best view of the back garden via its rear entrance.

The glass rear door gives access to the rear decking area where many guests choose to have their included breakfast, especially on a clear morning when the warm sunshine complements the abundance of greenery.

Green Room guests may have a late night spa if the spa bath has been booked, but it costs extra for spa use except on a three or more night stay.

Please note that additional guests are not accepted in the Green Room. No toddlers or children. It is exclusively for two adults.

BLUE ROOM
The Blue Room is the largest and is often preferred by guests. It has a view and access onto rear decking, overlooking the back garden, which is large and expansive with room for a small group to gather.

It has a side window view of tree ferns. There is space for a fold out single bed where required, although it is more suited to a couple with a teenager rather than adults as there is only the en-suite for privacy.

Coffee as well as black, green and herbal teas are complimentary, along with many other extras.

Please note that the rear decking area is also accessed from the Green Room, so when two couples are travelling together these two rooms can work well together.
