Serenity Cottage one of the quaintest cottages in the peaceful hamlet of Vivonne Bay, certainly lives up to its name! This elevated Western Red Cedar cottage provides a tree-top hideaway nestled amongst eucalypt trees and native coastal scrub and is located only 450m from the beach voted "Australia's best!"

Just a five minute stroll to the crystal clear, turquoise waters of Vivonne Bay and its stunning, long, white, sandy beach a superb site for picnics, beachcombing, surfing, fishing or just taking a stroll along the beach or esplanade to take in the majestic scenery. Fishing from the jetty, beach, boat or nearby Harriet River mouth is excellent.

Serenity Cottage is centrally located to the Island's major natural attractions - Seal Bay, Little Sahara, Kelly Hill Caves, Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch - and no more than an hour and a quarter's drive to just about anywhere on the island.

The one bedroom renovated cottage provides a relaxed environment for a self-catered holiday vacation - ideal for a romantic getaway, a private retreat for one, or two close friends/family members travelling together.

The cosy bedroom has romantic, ambient lighting, a comfortable queen size bed and block-out blinds for a sleep-in.

When the nights get cooler, you'll stay warm and cosy inside thanks to a wall mounted, reverse-cycle air conditioner/heater located in the open plan living area. At bedtime, snuggle up with soft plump quilts and electric blankets on the bed.

Serenity Cottage has a light filled, open plan kitchen/dining/living area with high cathedral ceilings and north-facing picture windows all around that draw the peaceful ambience inside.

A large, curved, stone-wall deck extends off the living area with easy access via french doors. This elevated, tree-top alfresco area offers an alternative place to sit, eat, relax or cook a meal on the barbeque (BBQ).

The front verandah overlooks the garden and provides another spot to sit and enjoy the peaceful ambience. There is plenty of bird life to watch and opportunities to spot possums and wallabies in the garden especially at dusk.

The distinctive grey building with red front door and dry stone walling is quite unique. Inside the cottage has a bright, clean, fresh, relaxed, modern beach house feel. It has recently been lovingly renovated and decorated with lots of homely and quirky touches that add charm and immediate appeal.

The contemporary and fully equipped kitchen provides ample pantry space, a full size fridge/freezer, oven/grill, cooktop, microwave, kettle & toaster and all the cutlery, crockery, baking and cookware you could possibly need for a self-catered holiday.

Opposite the bedroom is a combined bathroom/shower/laundry. A laundry tub, dryer and iron are provided. The toilet is located at the rear of the building. (Please note: no washing machine)

All linen and towels are provided, however we ask that you bring your own beach towels.

Serenity Cottage provides a large TV with free-to-air satellite reception but if you don't like what's on the telly, there's a selection of DVD movies to watch.
A radio/CD player is also provided, or pair your mobile device with our Bluetooth speakers to listen to your own favourite music.

An undercover carport is available at the end of the driveway.

The nearby Vivonne Bay General Store & Bottle Shop is very handy for top-up groceries, meals, alcohol and petrol. The General Store is also a hire shop for toboggans and sand boards to ride the giant dunes at nearby Little Sahara.
