Kilfeacle Farm Cottage

Our cosy farm cottage is 100 years old and has a snug loft and breathtaking views across forest and ocean. You are welcome to help yourself to fresh eggs from the chickens, veggies from the garden, go for a bushwalks or just relax with a cuppa on the verandah and enjoy the tranquility.
The cottage is on a working cattle farm with cows, wombats and native birds. It's just a 15 minute drive to historic Milton, famous for its cafes, boutique shops and live music. Mollymook, Narrawallee and Conjola beaches are all very close, with great surfing, snorkelling and and beautiful protected inlet just perfect for children to play in.
The cottage can sleep 2-4 people, with the loft featuring a king bed and (optional) two short (1.5m) mattresses for children. If you don't want to brave the ladder, we have a comfortable pull-out queen sofa bed downstairs in the lounge room.
The cottage is well insulated, and the wonderful pot belly stove will warm you in winter.
Access to our property is by a mostly-sealed council-maintained road which is fine for two wheel drives; however, if you drive a low-slung vehicle you will need to take care over the rollovers (take them at an angle) to avoid scraping your vehicle.
You will need your own vehicle to get to and from Kilfeacle.
Our road has a small creek crossing. During rare periods of extremely heavy rain it can flood for a day or two. This can temporarily make it difficult for guests to cross in 2WDs. As a solution we can provide a 4WD to guests if the creek is higher than normal. This 4WD is easy to drive (automatic) and is registered and insured (with baby seats if required). We will give you all the advice you need so you can cross with ease.
Think of the creek as part of the authentic rural experience!
