Situated one kilometre west of the Tenterfield Post Office, Tenterfield Lodge Caravan Park has drive through sites for caravans, a camping area for tents, en suite cabins and economy cabins. Park facilities include clean amenities, kitchen for campers, free gas barbecue. Tenterfield Lodge is pet friendly on request and inspections are welcome. Well away from the highway in a park like setting, you are assured of a peaceful stay, whether overnight or for an extended visit to the area. Tenterfield Lodge is a beautiful heritage-listed building. Built in 1875 as The Temperance Hotel, it became a ladies high school in 1895 and later was granted a licence and operated as The Railway Hotel. It now houses the Guesthouse Accommodation and the Tenterfield Lodge Caravan Park administration office.
