Alpenhorn Lodge

Alpenhorn Lodge is located in the beautiful Kosciuszko National Park. We sit comfortably elevated to take in the beautiful views of Thredbo Village, and enjoy the mountain and valley outlook.

Most visitors to Thredbo come to enjoy the awesome skiing and snowboarding during the winter months, however there is plenty to do year round, with bushwalking/hiking to the top of Australia's highest mountain (Mt. Kosciuszko) as well as the numerous trails elsewhere in the Village and the National Park.

Mountain biking is becoming more and more popular each summer with new trails constantly being developed, including the new "All Mountain Trail" and the Thredbo Valley Trail which winds along the valley and the Thredbo river for over 20km's.

There's also our 9 hole golf course, tennis courts, Thredbo Leisure centre with 50m Olympic size pool, water slide for kids, squash courts, indoor gymnasium and trampoline arena.

A bike pump track for all ages, skate park, tennis courts and playground are available at the Village Green. Free BBQ's by the river are perfect in summer to cook up a fresh catch if fishing is your preference with plenty of amazing places to land "the big one".

Restaurants, cafes and retail shopping are available year round, with the local pub (the affectionately known "bisty") a newsagent, local bakery and supermarket as some of the necessary features of the village!

The chairlift operates year round to ensure you can capture the amazing view of the Snowy Mountains, and enjoy all the area has to offer.
