Kookaburra On The Water , is a private waterfront home on the tranquil water community of Noosa Waters.

Our lovely home is warm and inviting and has been decorated in a nautical style . The house "feels" a little like a boat house and offers guests 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

The property is spacious colourful and eclectic. On first impressions, Kookaburra guests enter via a resort-style entrance with high cathedral ceilings. The house then flows into a cosy lounge room and large kitchen with Miele appliances. The kitchen and lounge flow onto a large wraparound shaded entertaining deck making entertaining a pleasure. The deck, kitchen, lounge and master bedroom overlooks a north facing plunge pool, the pool is heated during winter and cool in summer, palm trees, waterways and lush greenery.

It has its own private jetty with 28-metre waterway frontage.

Guests with their own boats can moor at the jetty and access the river via the waterways. Key provided.

Our property is perfectly positioned and right next to the Noosa Waters landmark water feature, the soothing sound of running water is an extra relaxing bonus for guests to enjoy.

Kookaburra is not a party house nor is it a super modern luxurious property, instead, it is a lovely homey and artistic haven where guests can relax, read and repose all within a few minutes drive or 15-minute flat walk to Gympie Terrace shopping facilities, the river, cafes, boutiques restaurants and bars.

The famous Hastings street and Noosa Main beach are within a 7 minutes drive or better still catch a ferry from the Noosaville Jetty to Noosa Main Beach and leave the car at home.

The 4 Bedrooms and 3 bathrooms are fully air conditioned and 3 of the bedrooms have overhead fans:
-All of the rooms have been painted with colours that provide a restful sleeping space and a different look and feel.
-All beds are dressed with quality linens, Turkish towels and pool towels are provided.
-Pink Bedroom: King size top of the range European Tempur bed with adjoining en-suite and water views makes this room very relaxing
-Turquoise Room: King size plush mattress that can be divided into 2 single beds with ensuite and garden privacy with views to the water
-Nautical room: Double bed with plush mattress shares turquoise rooms ensuite
-Sandy Room: Queen bed with plush mattress and ensuite
-Sleeps 8 + 2 additional fold away matresses suitable for children

What to do ?
-Stay at home watching the birds, ducks, water dragons - they look like statues, but will move away from you and they will run.
-Watch the movement of the water and the colour as it changes with the Noosa River
-Sip your morning coffee on the deck and watch the Morning sunrise over the water
-Laze by the pool
-Fish from your private jetty or Kayak from the property down to the river
-Go out and shop as Hastings St which is renowned for its high-end European fashion boutiques - you won't be disappointed
-Fine dining in hasting street or join the locals and eat in Noosaville not as expensive and just as good

Guest Access:
-Families with children are welcome ,HOWEVER parents must fully understand that prior to booking that they acknowledge to the owners that they are fully aware that this property has open access to the Noosa waterway which leads directly from the house.
-Swimming in the waterway is not permitted.Depending on your childrens age this property may or may not be suited.

We Provide:
-Quality bed Linen, Turkish towels, pool towels and a working pantry. We enjoy sharing and encourage guests to use, replace and recycle.
-Interaction with Guests

Christine will be available to meet and greet so that you can have a personal contact and to show you through the property. Her meet and greet hours are between 2pm to 5pm . Christine is local and knows the area very well and will be your point of contact whilst staying at the property.

Our favourites - there are so many things to do. If you are travelling in from o/s I would suggest that you head down to the Noosa Tourism office or research our well-stocked box of brochures There are plenty of day trips and outings to explore.

Noosa Waters is home to many local Noosa Water residents. This house is not suitable for party goers. We ask our guests to be mindful of noise that could disturb our neighbours and to try to not extend outdoor entertaining beyond 10.30pm.
