Kookaburra Beach House is situated in a grand art deco character filled family home , the apt has retained original art deco ornate ceilings, stained glass front door . It is in a perfect position and is only 3 mins walk to the beach, 2 mins walk to shops, situated on the first floor with approx 35 stairs and has access to a large sun drenched terrace on the mezzanine level .We also boast a beautiful tropical backyard with lounge area and dining. . Our space is unique and private. The apt is used purely for holiday makers.

The outdoor backyard is shared with our family and friendly dog , we offer communal laundry facilities with outdoor drying line and dryer which can be used if raining

We like to welcome our guests and be on call as we reside in the same building on the ground floor the property is unique and very homey . Tastefully decorated .

Please note:
Kookaburra Beach House is a warm and friendly family atmosphere, it offers privacy and independance all within a lovely family home. Guests can feel at ease knowing that we live within the same building and are on call for their needs . The communal areas are shared with our family .The apt is not suitable for people who have restricted mobility or cannot climb stairs.

There is also an additional bedroom downstairs that can be rented for additional guests maximum 2 - refer to kookaburra garden room or ask owner for more information.

The apartment has maintained its original 1920's features such as high ornate ceilings , stain glass entry door , it has a charming presence and is fully equipped with a modern european kitchen and glass mosaic bathroom. The location is perfect and is only 2 mins walk to the beach , shops , cafes transport etc

The Space
Kookaburra Beach House is conveniently situated 2 mins walk to the beach, 2 mins walk to shops, there is a large sun drenched terrace on the mezzanine level and a tropical backyard with dining for 8 people as well as an outdoor shower ,lounge area and hammock ,there is a communal laundry with an outdoor clothesline for drying and a dryer which can be used if raining.

If there are more than 4 guests wanting to stay we also offer
1. kookaburra garden room - sleeps 2 with private bathroom
2.kookaburra down under sleeps 2
So our total property can sleep 8 persons

Other Things to Note:
The Sun drenched terrace with dining table is on the mezzanine level and the tropical garden are shared spaces with our family only and offer the perfect additions of outdoor living to the apartment. We like to welcome our guests and be on call as we reside in the same building on the ground floor
