On weekends, wander down the road from your student accommodation to the Australian Museum, where fascinating natural history exhibits offer your first taste of Australias famous wildlife. Afterwards, keep an eye out for exotic birds in the Royal Botanic Gardens. Meet your friends for a picnic by the water, enjoy spectacular views of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, or stay after dark to watch an arthouse movie at St George OpenAir Cinema. Alternatively, head to Italian restaurant Sagra for a delicious home-style meal, before catching a show at indie music venue Oxford Art Factory.
From your fully furnished studio at Yurong House, its a 15-minute walk to UNSW Art & Design, and a 15-minute bus ride to the University of Technology Sydney. In between lectures, head to top-rated Darlinghurst caf Edition Coffee Roasters for a Nordic/Japanese fusion breakfast, then set out to explore the rest of the city. Walk three minutes to your nearest bus stop, or 15 minutes to Central Station. From there, its a two-hour ride to the heart of the world-famous Blue Mountains National Park.

After a day full of adventures, kick back in the social common room. Tune into your favourite series on the wide screen TV, or spend a moment catching up with your friends. Later, retreat to your private bedroom to work on the weeks assignments. Study peacefully, knowing that your rent includes all water, gas and electricity usage as well as 10 GB data per person per month.

In the evening, grab your notes from the shelves, and use the Wi-Fi to research your sources. Raid the kitchenette fridge whenever your energy levels get low; or head out to the communal courtyard for a breath of fresh air on your study break.

When youre done, stroll across the road for a jog through historic Hyde Park - where youll find green lawns packed with sunbathing locals and cool, refreshing fountains. Come home for a quick shower, then gather up your washing for a trip to the on-site laundry. In the evening, contribute ingredients to a cooking extravaganza in the shared kitchen, before heading out for a few drinks.
