Beautifully restored to the former glory of the 1920's and 1930's, Tarraleah Estate offers you a range of accommodation in the Tasmanian highlands AND the experience of stepping back in time to the 1930's.

Tarraleahs old schoolhouse has been stylishly converted into relaxed and contemporary accommodation. The scholars rooms are ensuite hotel style studio rooms, most with a queen size bed and bathroom on the ground floor, tea and coffee making facilities a sitting area with flat screen and DVD player upstairs in each room.

The Scholars House has 10 rooms that can be booked (making it perfect for groups) and each room has access to the large communal facilities in the heart of the building, including a large well equipped communal kitchen, dining room, guest laundry and a warm fireside snug.

Interconnecting rooms, family suites and a disabled access room can be available (on request, subject to availability) and there is easy parking outside.
