14 Riverside Drive

Big Bend is a small collection of 28 shacks situated 1 hour from Mannum and Murray Bridge. Rick's Riverfront Retreat is situated on the riverfront. You will have access to your own private jetty, where you can moor your boat or jet ski while you stay.

Big Bend is situated between Swan Reach and Nildottie approx 10 minutes from both. The local boat ramp is located approximately 1/2km away from the shack, giving you easy and convenient access to launch your watercraft.

The Riverfront Shack is in an ideal location as by day you can watch all activities on the river and watch the sun set over the river views.

Upstairs there are two good sized bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two set of bunks. There is also a nice sized bathroom, with shower cubicle, vanity, toilet and washing machine.

Also upstairs there is a kitchen, with an array of crockery, glasses, pots and pans and kitchen equipment including electric cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric fry pan and fridge/freezer. There is also a 6 seating dining area, a 2.5 seater lounge with TV and DVD player. There is also aircon/heating.

The balcony has an outdoor setting which can seat 6 so you have perfect views of the river through the day and in the evening.

Downstairs there are an additional two bedrooms, one with a queen bed & bedside tables and one with two single beds.

There is another kitchen downstairs with an array of crockery, glasses, pots and pans and kitchen equipment including electric hot plate, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric fry pan and fridge/freezer. There is also a 6 seating dining area, a 3 seater lounge with TV and DVD player. There is aircon/heating downstairs as well. Downstairs there is another small area with a two seater lounge and tv.

Outside there is a paved area and a 6 piece outdoor setting allowing occupants to eat and relax while watching the river activities throughout the day and a gas BBQ.

We also have a Stand up Paddle Board, 2 x two person kayaks, lifejackets and Pedal Boats that are available for hire during your stay.

Food & drinks including tea, coffee, salt, pepper
Kitchen basics like gladwrap, alfoil & paper towels small amount supplied

Please note that it is extremely important for guests to remain within the boundaries of the property, the neighbors also enjoy the privacy of the area and ask that guests respect their choice of privacy.

$250 per night off peak rates (1/4 - 31/8) with a 2 night minimum stay.
