Balmy afternoons turn into evening sunsets gazing out from under an iconic bullnose verandah towards the pristine forest of the Nightcap National Park. The only sound is the crackle of the wood fired pizza oven as it alights and holiday tales told under the roof of the alfresco courtyard.

Romance is easy to find in front of the fireplace or in the seclusion of the barn-style studio, where beautiful studded timber doors open to a private living area, bedroom and enclosed deck.

"The house is stunning! The views are beautiful - sunset was amazing. The rooms were huge, and the house was so clean with great amenities. We would definitely stay again. The host replied to us quickly and were very helpful. A 10/10 stay!"

Location
Federal is situated in the Byron hinterland among country roads and lush bushland. Fairway is an eight minute drive to the Byron hinterland village of Federal where you can find locally roasted coffee, Doma modern Japanese cafe and Federal general store. The scenic gardens of Crystal Castle are a 15 minute drive towards Mullumbimby. The world class beaches of Byron Bay are a half hour scenic drive from the property. Spectacular Minyon Falls in the Nightcap National Park are a 10 minute drive and many bushwalking day trips can be found close by. Gold Coast Airport is one hour and Ballina Airport is 45 minutes drive.
